Springfield Cotillion - Instructions in Social Dance and Appropriate Social Behavior

From Pas de Deux to May I Have this Dance?

Springfield Cotillion is a division of Gracious Occasions, Inc. under the direction of Martha S. Wright with assistance from Murray Meyer Beairsto, Marty Kassab Chaney and Betsy Kassab. Our very able and talented dance instructors are Anne and Andy Walls of Dance With Me and The Savoy Ballroom. The classes will be held at Hickory Hills School. The Holly Ball dance will be at the Hickory Hills Country Club and the Valentine Dance will be held in the Savoy Ballroom. The 5th and 6th grade groups meet separately, but the 7th and 8th grade class is combined. The students will receive instruction in the table graces and will attend a formal sit-down meal before The Holly Ball. The program is by invitation only, but we welcome all students. We do attempt to keep the classes gender-equal as it makes the experience more relevant.
